Namibia Plus is currently a public information website. It does not offer user accounts, payment processing, file uploads, or an on-site contact form. • Email enquiries — If you choose an email link and send us a message, we receive the address, message, and any details you include through normal email services. • Consent preferences — Your cookie choices are saved in a first-party cookie and local browser storage so the site can remember them. • Checklist progress — The trip-readiness checklist can save checked items in local browser storage. That progress stays on your device and is not submitted to Namibia Plus. • Standard request data — Hosting and security infrastructure may process technical request data such as an IP address, requested URL, time, browser information, and error or security events to deliver and protect the site. No analytics, advertising, or affiliate-tracking service is loaded by the current site implementation.

Information is used only for the purpose that produced it: • To answer an email enquiry, correction request, or update request you send. • To remember consent settings and optional checklist progress on your device. • To deliver, maintain, troubleshoot, and protect the website. • To meet a lawful request or legal obligation where one applies.

We do not sell personal data. You can manage preferences through the Cookie Settings page or clear them in your browser. The travel guides remain readable if optional storage is disabled.

The consent cookie expires after up to one year. Local-storage preferences remain until you change them or clear browser data; checklist progress also clears when functional storage is disabled or the checklist is reset. Email correspondence is kept only as long as reasonably needed to answer the request, maintain necessary records, or meet a legal obligation. Hosting and security logs, if generated, follow the relevant provider configuration and retention terms. Namibia Plus does not claim fixed retention periods for systems that are not currently operated.
