Terms of Service

Please read these terms carefully before using our independent planning guides, checklists, and commercial disclosures.

Last updated: 6 May 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Namibia Plus website and services. By using this site, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Namibia Plus website (namibiaplus.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the website. These terms apply to visitors and users of Namibia Plus planning content, checklists, emails, and commercial disclosures.

2. Services Description

Namibia Plus provides independent Namibia travel planning content including: • Destination guides and route notes • Seasonal planning guidance • Self-drive, lodge, safari, and advisory checklists • Operator, lodge, and rental-company verification criteria • Clearly marked affiliate or referral links, if present Namibia Plus is not a booking engine, tour operator, travel agency, payment processor, or emergency-response provider. Any booking you make with a third-party supplier is governed by that supplier's terms.

3. Affiliate & Third-Party Links

Namibia Plus may include clearly marked affiliate or referral links to lodges, rental companies, tour operators, insurance providers, eSIM providers, or other travel services. If you click a third-party link, you leave Namibia Plus and interact directly with that provider. Prices, availability, terms, cancellation rules, safety policies, and service delivery are the responsibility of the third-party provider. Affiliate commissions do not increase your price unless the provider states otherwise.

4. No Booking, Cancellation, or Refund Handling

Namibia Plus does not take deposits, process travel payments, confirm bookings, issue travel documents, or handle cancellations or refunds. Always review the cancellation and refund terms of the provider you book with. We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellation, medical emergencies, and evacuation.

5. Travel Documentation

You are responsible for ensuring you have a valid passport, required visas, vaccinations, health clearances, insurance, and suitable travel documentation. Namibia Plus is not liable for denied entry or travel disruption due to insufficient documentation. Some activities require reasonable physical fitness. Confirm requirements directly with your operator, lodge, rental company, or guide before booking.

6. Liability & Disclaimers

**Informational Content:** Namibia Plus content is for general planning and research only. Official visa, health, safety, park, road, and supplier information should be verified directly before travel. **Third-Party Services:** We are not liable for injury, loss, damage, or delay arising from acts or omissions of airlines, lodges, safari operators, rental companies, guides, insurers, or other service providers. **Wildlife & Nature:** Encounters with wildlife and remote travel carry inherent risks. You acknowledge and accept these risks when participating in safari or self-drive activities.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Namibia Plus website — including text, photographs, graphics, logos, and software — is our property or that of our content suppliers, protected by international copyright laws. You may not reproduce or distribute any content without prior written consent.

8. User Conduct

You agree not to: • Provide false or misleading information when using the website or contacting us • Use our website for any unlawful purpose • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems • Transmit viruses, malware, or harmful code • Scrape or use automated tools to extract data without permission

9. Third-Party Travel Changes

Weather, road conditions, wildlife patterns, lodge availability, supplier terms, and official rules can change. Because Namibia Plus does not operate trips or manage bookings, any itinerary change, refund, replacement service, or travel document update must be handled directly with the relevant provider.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Namibia. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Windhoek, Namibia. We encourage direct contact to resolve issues before pursuing formal legal action.

11. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
